Warping is recalculated real-time every-time you press play, it is not rendered to a cache file.
I don't consider that to be a true real-time operation, but I suppose we'll just have to disagree on that.
But you have clarified the fact for me; I can be happy that the higher sample rate Complex ...

Re: Recording, but not editing, at high sample rate
Hi pottering,
I'm not sure warping _is_ realtime; you can't perform warping on a voice as you are speaking - it is an offline process which calculates the end sound when ever you twist a dial or slider associated with the function.
You're other statement is along the lines of the information I am ...

Re: Recording, but not editing, at high sample rate
Thanks Bdumaguina.
I think you misunderstand my question though. I'm asking if Ableton Live will apply the 96khz version of the Complex Pro Algorithm on rendering, after recording at 96khz but manipulating at 44.1khz.
I'm looking for a definitive answer from Ableton; this will have to have been ...

Recording, but not editing, at high sample rate
I wonder, in order to save some CPU cycles.. if I record audio at 96khz, perform adjustments with Complex Pro at 44.1khz, and render out at 96khz, am I losing quality post the Complex Pro adjustments?

Internal midi routing Ch1 only?
Hi,
Does Live only pass through midi handled on channel 1 only?
I'm trying to send 2 midi clips, one which is routed through PlogueBidule to midi channel 2, both to one midi track (with a homebrew Bidule device on), but when I monitor the data which is being remapped to channel 2 it does not enter ...

Driver error compensation GRRRRR
Heeeeellllppppp!
Driver Error Compensation isn't doing anything!
I've done tests at various PDCs at 44100hz on my Apogee Duet but no matter what I type into the 'Driver Error Compensation' field nothing changes, all audio recorded (in this instance a Sine wav) remains late and requires manual ...

Driver error compensation GRRRR
Why is this not working correctly? I expect to be able to say 'compensate by this number of milliseconds' and for the recordings to be offset by this amount automatically.. do i misunderstand this?
If I understand this correctly then what is wrong with the settings displayed in the attached file ...

I can't find the equivalent files on OSX.
Do you, or anyone else here, know what I should be looking for?

nanoKontrol transport control?
I've been trying to setup the nanoKontrols transport for Ableton but using CCs on PLAY it triggers on both the on and the off, and setting up the 'ControlSurface' as microKontrol, and 'Input' as nanoKontrol doesn't seem to work at all.
Is it possible to set this up so it works as expected?
cheers ...
