hi all...

i was wondering how to import a midi pattern from somewhere else into live onto a midi clip. any suggestions?

i was thinking that i could load it into a sequencer vst and then cut and paste it. yes?

how do i get it into that little midi clip box for editing?!

i can't seem to figure out a way yet, either... it was so easy to do in cubase, and seems like such a basic routing concept.

i noticed that while using live 4 as a rewire app in cubase sx, that i am not able to record or use vsti's in live 4.

am i missing a preferences setting, or is that 'just the way it is ...
