Was just pondering what you folks do when recording lots of takes?

With my old MOTU interface I had a foot switch I could assign to F9 (record) and it made it good and easy to just punch in/out. I now have an RME interface that doesn’t have that. But it wasn’t so easy to skip back to a certain ...

I'm now on Sequoia too! Live worked fine. Played about with a few projects. Then I had a problem where it locked up every time I exported a particular set I'd fiddled with (and killed off Live and "recovered it" in between). But then didn't save the recovered one, as I'd barely done anything to it ...

Ah-ha! Works. Yep, stupidly missed the one named "Convolution reverb". Works now I reinstalled that. Obvs missed it when trying to reinstall all the packs with L12.

Well I just tried re-installing a load of freshly downloaded packs that seem M4L related. Most of them say already installed. Granulator 2 works (isn't that M4L?) but still getting the same message for convolution verb. Do I have to uninstall old ones before replacing, or have I just got the wrong ...

[jur] do you mean I can just update the M4L downloadable packs from my purchase list? (so you mean my M4L is probably fine and native, but the effect packs themselves are trying to reference an old version that's not compatible?)

Either way, I'll try re-download the packs as I've obvs installed 12 ...

Suite user here. When I try to use the convolution reverb plugin it says my max for live isn't Apple Silicon native yet and I should run it under Rosetta if I want to use M4L. Is that right, as the Cycling 74 website says standalone Max has been Apple Silicon native since Oct 2021? So seems pretty ...

I'm not quite wild enough to have done the upgrade yet on 2nd day of release, but anyone here done so? Or done a load of beta testing? Any issues? Performance the same? Any weird glitches? All plugins work?

Hopefully in 15.0 it's all solid as there's been betas a while ...

I'm with fabidjano: would be nice if we could have both if Cmd-Opt-L isn't now used for something else too.

Maybe I'll just get used to it, but I've been Cmd-Opt-L-ing for a long time! Also when I've not been doing any production for a while and instant muscle memory is gone it's still pretty easy ...

Do they add anything over the old Live 11 ones? Or do I only need to download new ones? (my account shows none are "previously ...

I got a M1 Max MacBook Pro back in 2021(?), whenever the 15" Pro/Max was new. Originally put kext drivers on it for my RME UFX II. Worked great. But MacOS moaned periodically that kexts wouldn't be supported in a future version of MacOS. So after looking about and reading RME forums worked ...

I've just Ventura-ed my MacBook and installed the DriverKit compatible RME drivers. Presumably because it's a different audio driver all my nice I/O names are gone.

Are these in some hidden XML file or something somewhere where I can just copy a chunk of the old driver name to the new driver ...

Would still be nice to have a feature to export all tracks without FX (and as of last night I realised -) without any panning feature. All the mono ones I exported turn into stereo ones. So the nicely names group tracks ...
