*bump* this thread.

Still having no luck getting ANY presets to show in the browser window.

Haven't got any 'Lessions' either. Just says 'no lessons found' in that window.

this is bugging me. big time.

Any ideas, please?

I can see the library folder with all the presets when I browse in the finder in osx. 'Application Support' - Ableton - Library. Yep they're there. But they don't show up in Live's Browser. Do I have to drag them over to Live's folder in the Appliction folder ...

I have the same problem (see No Preset thread below)

I'm using OSX and when I downloaded 5.0.1 all I have in the Ableton folder is the actual application and a docs folder with only the user manual pdf. I have no presets showing up at all.

I tried dowloading and re-installing Live 5 again but still if doesn't show any new presets. If I go up one level in the library browser's hierarchy it shows my Live 4 folder which contains a user preset folder contianing my own presets and some of the 'Covert Opertater' presets for the Auto Filter ...

Just got the Live upgrade from 4 to 5 and it appears that I have no factory presests!

All the divices seem to be there but when I click on an arrow to show the presests of a device... nothin'. The arrow points down but no presets show. Bugger.

However - and I wonder if I'm doin' something fundamentally wrong (bit of a novice so probably) - but as I play my synth through Live's input and say automate the mixer's volume to produce a gating effect, I can still hear my synth and the automated volume on the mixer is neglegible.
