Live is not good for Trance.
It excels at Happy Hardcore and Tribal House, but for Trance; it is pretty shitty.
Possibly for Garage Two-Step it might work; but Trance ... you need Fruity Loops.

they really do listen....... Hello John, Never mind. I can understand that our license policy can be slightly confusing. A little explanation: A Live license consists of the first version you purchase and all further version upgrades. As I explained yesterday and as it can also be seen in our FAQ, ...

well maybe I went over the top criticising others for moaning about this. But Ableton is one of the very few successful software companies I know of who pay such attention to their users. Robert sustains such great interest in reaching out to users, getting involved in the forum and maintaining a pa...

"get more money from users" ... well what the fuck did you think Ableton sold it's first ever license for? To roll up the notes and smoke them? You should have spotted their ugly greedy capitalism at that stage. Such pettiness amongst users really bothers me. Give me one good reason why they should ...

What a pack of assholes you moaning fuckwits are. Ableton are perfectly entitled to sell you a non-transferable licence. Don't buy it if you think you need to sell it. Cos you shouldn't expect to be able to sell it. I can't get over the number of dipshit fanboys on this forum; drooling over new gear...

this is largely a social forum anyway. even the "old pros" post their idle thoughts and rants about ridiculous personal fetishes. if you want a cold sterile support forum, you've come to the wrong company. Live is ... live, social and human, and so is its forum. While the most noise may be made by e...

sure - I'm a software tester. Basically I get told what a new piece of functionality is meant to do, and I spend a few days trying to break it! Not quite Sasha, but it pays the bills and isn't too stressful. I live in Ireland and for my troubles I get paid EUR32,000 a year and I've been doing this f...

What is everyone's 'real job' here? I always suspect that most of us on this forum are addicted hobbyists rather than music 'industry pros'. To make your main money, if you are employed, post what you do, how long you have been doing it, how much you earn and where you live. Or if you are unemployed...

I support Bush's foreign policy direction. I also think he is a decent man despite what many think of him (as far as politicians go). Secondly, all I ever hear as an alternative to countering terrorism in the middle east are exactly the things that helped create it over the last 30 to 40 years. So,...
