Re: EQ8 Midi mapping advice
map a button on the midi controller ...to send the same cc as the mapped 'gain' knob... have it send a value of "64" (middle value) for that cc.. another option would be to map a button to the band on/off button as a toggle.. Thanks for that, that kind of works for one knob. Essentially w...

EQ8 Midi mapping advice
I hope someone can help me, I'm using thenew Lemur for iPad software and am pretty happy with it so far. However, one thing I would like to be able to do but can't work out how bets to do it is this.... I have created a multi-slider that controls an EQ8 one slider for each band, nice and simple. How...

Re: New PC - Helpwith spec
Which version of XP Pro, 32 bits ou x64? A 32-bits OS can only handle 3.25GB of RAM, so you 6GB will be overkill. RAM is cheap, however, and you might want to use Win 7 in a few months, so, why not. i7 920 is an excellent choice, and the new revisions (stepping) seem to overclock pretty well. Yeah ...

New PC - Helpwith spec
Hi, I am going to change the PC in my studio as it's now rather long in the tooth and starting to slow down. Given that I am planning to stick with Windows XP Pro, how does the following setup sound, will it be ok? 6GB (3x2GB) Corsair XMS3 DDR3, PC3-12800 (1600MHz) Asus PT6 SE Board Intel Core I7 92...

Sync Two Mac's Help Please
I am in the process of trying to sync two MBP's together using an ethernet cable, I have things working of a sort. However the timing is out when I play the two metronomes. I have read lots about how you can adjust the Midi Offset. How on earth do you do this as I can't find a setting anywhere? We a...

Saving Clips - Why has this become less flexible?
I havn't bothered upgrading my version of Live until recently and went from 7.0.2 to 7.0.14. All seemed fine at first, apart from when I want to create some new clips from my existing tracks. Previously, I would add the track I wanted to create loops from to the session view and then create the loop...

Leopard 10.5.2
My MBP is asking me to upgrade to the new version of Leopard 10.5.2. Should I do this or not, I'm running Live 7 currently?
Thanks in advance for any views.

Live 7 Crashed
I played out on my Macbook Pro for the first time last night and live 7 crashed on me twice. Both times I was dragging across a new clip, it just said it had generated errors and closed. I was able to relaunch and start again, but am now seriously woried. Both times I had just started a set so only ...
