I just discovered a similar problem tonite on an audio track. I automated the volume data on an audio clip and basically I can hear the volume behaving as it should, but there is no automation data to edit!!!!! It's like I never entered any data at all...

Loaded the VST version of Reaktor v4.1.2 as an insert effect in Live 4.0.1 using a Powerbook G4 1Ghz 256MB RAM (OS X v 10.3.5). No problems, no crashes... opens and runs fine. The AU version DEFINITELY won't open.
