I looked up the track you are loading in the video.
It is supposed to be 122 bpm.

This means when you warp it, warp it as “122 bpm”

This tells Ableton Live that the original audio that it is referencing is 122 bpm. Always warp clips so that the warping reflects the Actual bpm of the source ...

You need to prepare the tracks first in an empty project. I wonder if this can be improved, it always confused me that bpm of an unwarped clip cannot be edited manually.

Doing a dj set and it seems counter intuitive.. or I am doing something wrong.?

I want my set to be 127..
Track A I know is 131 Track B i know is 124. ( from beatport)

Please tell me:.. how do I make it so when I import these into a live 12 session they conform to 127 automatically.

I use Ableton mainly for producing dj sets to upload to the internet.
In previous live versions when I selected one of the tracks it would show in the bottom panel and it would have the ORIGINAL bpm of the track in the details section.

Now it appears that it matches the main BPM of the set.

I did a dj mix set using live .. 10 tracks.. Vanilla simple : track a to b to c etc..
The individual track level barely clip at red.. When mixing in the next track it understandably clips red but the goes away when the next tracks is in..

I am sure the way I use LIVE is fairly simple.
I use it to do promo mix sets.
I lay two audio tracks:
1 Audio
2 Audio
Set the tracks a,b,c,d,e,f
like so
1 Audio: AAAAAA..........CCCCCCCCC...........eeeeeeeee
2 Audio:......BBBBBBBBBBBBB......DDDDDDDDDDDDD

where the overlap of clips is the mix ...

Let me explain..
So I am working on a mix with 2 audio tracks..
Track one has song A C E G
Track two has song B D F

and so forth..

so.. for example song D blends/mixes into song E and song E into F and so forth..

My mix is all finished all the tracks flow great the beats match great etc ...
