Timing off when triggering clips... anyone else?
I am running Live 5.02 on a 1.67 G4 laptop 1.2 gigs of RAM. My live set is set up in a way that I have 2 columns loaded with full songs and then one column loaded with aprox. 20 loops (8 of which) can be triggered via a trigger finger. I have about 4 more columns also loaded with loops that are like ...

7200 RPM laptop drives
We all know that 7200 RPM firewire drives are the way to for running sessions via firewire. However would it be worth it to get a 7200RPM 2.5" laptop drive? Would it really increase performance? This is assuming that you still ran sessions off an external firewire drive.

Live 4 Auditioning crash?!?
Every time i go to audition files in my samples folder, after auditioning about three or four sounds with barely any files up on my arrangement, Live crashes. Mostly only happens on my Powerbook and not my tower. Is it because my powerbook drive is slower? i mean it's just simple drumj sounds we're ...

Live 4 handling of audio files?
I've been cutting up a lot of audio files in arrange view zooming and using Cmd+E etc.... and then sequencing those audio files in the Arrange View. Would Ableton perform better if I bounced those cut audio regions individually then re-imported them again and re-squenced them again, or is it better ...

Saving as Self contained?
I've been sequencing audio in Arrange view now as if I was to write a full on song like I would in Pro tools or Cubase sequencing audio on the grid with little Midi. Does anyone know why it takes so long to save a set as self contained? I 've got lots of stuff up there, kicks snares etc.... all ...

DRAG & DROP FROM ARRANGEMENT TO IMPULSE!!!
PLEASE!!!! Imagine cutting up a bunch of audio on the arrange and directly dragging it onto impulse for triggering. NO ONE has done this yet!!! The fact that you can drag and drop from the auio bin onto impulse is a very big innovation, but imagine the possibilites of playing live, recording onto ...

well the ability to lets say map Zoom out to Cmd-[ or something like that. For people who are so used to the quick keys of a different app like Pro Tools it'd be great to assign all the similar keys to Ableton, so you would'nt have to memorize a whole bunch of key commands all over again. this is ...

THE ABILITY TO ASSIGN YOUR OWN QUICK KEYS!!!
PLEASE!!!! I know it's tough, but both Cubase SX and Logic have implemented it real well.
