Yea i will have to do a system time reset. b9 will open the file, i see it in all it's glory, but a dialogue box pops up in front of it to tell me that beta has expired. Ableton really needs a Save to earlier version (like Adobe does).

Everything was fine for me on 8.1b9. This morning however when i tried to fire up Live i got the message that i need to download a new version. Well, with this new version i cannot open up my .als, Live crashes everytime. Live will open fine when i am not opening a document.

Since Live seems to ignore the midi channel info in midi files, it would be extremely helpful if you had a Midi channel in the Notes area (it could be right under the Bank, Sub-Bank, and Program Change boxes).
