Hi everyone!
After a hectic and exhausting year, I've finally been able to plan a sweet vacation, and just booked my flight to London. Now I would like to ask a few locals:
1. What clubs would you recommend? I dig a lot of underground house stuff at the moment, and apart from Fabric, where should I ...

Limiter Question, not concerning Mastering Process
Hi there!
As soon as I started making electronic beats, I was aware of the dangers of the combination of unexperienced ears (mine) & the unskilled use of compressors and limiters ... used in a rash & 'uncontrolled' way, these can do a lot of harm, as most of you know.
Lately, I've been posting ...

Thank you very much for aour support on this question. Indeed, I checked back with DS, and the Evo. sends out SysEx exclusively.
I'll give the tool a try, no doubt, but for now I'll stick with trying to control the Evo. from a sound-sculpting point of view first. It's an amazing machine, which I'll ...

SysEx Question, and a short one it is
Hi!
Is Live capable of receiving SysEx Midi information? I have absolutley no clue whatsoever how SysEx works, but since my new D.S. Desktop Evolver sends out SysEx, I wanted to know if I could 'record' e.g. filter sweeps in Live's arrangement view.
So far, these attempts have not been sucessful ...

An odd update to my problem!
As you know, Live features Bank Information for your Midi Clips, e.g. one particular Midi Clip was recorded while Program 1 in Soundbank 1 was used. You can find / see this information in the Note Section of the Midi Clip Section.

Dave Smith MonoEvolver Midi Issues ... please help!
Hello everyone!
I recently bought a desktop version of the lovely MonoEvolver by Dave Smith. However, there is a small problem when it comes to sending Midi information from the synth to Live 7.02.
I'll begin by describing my set up:
I'm running Live 7.02 on a Mac. Audio / Midi interface is a ...

Dude, I don't mean to be rude, but what kind of response is that?
Why is it a machine that's found its way on your wishlist? What exactly are your desired feat.'s? And how do you know what I need? All I did was to give a very rough descriptions of a few things that I considered relevant.

Clavia Nord Modular! Opinions please!
Hello everyone!
I am seriously thinking of buying a new Clavia Modular synth, but as with all buys in such a price range, I am quite careful before stepping to my bank account. It is, after all, quite an investment ... I would very much like to hear your opinion on that machine. Have you got one ...

Hey there!
It started sweet, with the cut up pad sounds, lush & tasty, but once the hectic breaks came in, you lost me. But then again, it could have been the sample I simply didn't dig.
Check my track 'mostly' on this MySpace acc.:

Despite the fact that it is not my personal musical style, I like it! A lot of very interesting ideas in there, e.g. I dig the Bass sound and especially the pad sounds that come up near the end of the tune.
Again, I got a completley different approach to electronic music, but big up, keep working ...
