Ughhh- heavy bass weekend in Glasgow!

Wow - i thought this only happened to me and I was going a bit mad! Here's the setup I had:

Ableton sending MIDI clock to Elektron SFX-60 and TR-909

Audio routed to Live via Mackie Onyx 1640 with Firewire card- shows up as 16 inputs in Live.

Hey Dom- thanks for the prompt reply- looks like I'm out of luck as I used to use an EMU EIV sampler and all my CD-Roms are in this format but I think I can get a 3rd party translator to make it work.

Anyone know if Sampler can read EMU format CD-Roms? There's very little info on the Ableton site as to what is compatible or isn't....they say something about "popular formats" but thats about it

Heh- thanks for the kind words- unfortunately all future iridite Produtions are on hold until I can get to the bottom of this permanent gap in the Audio when I record into Ableton

Hi Mike- yes, you are right, I record with the Monitor switch set to "Off" as I am monitoring the direct sound of the 2080 Bass Drum through the mixing desk- it's only once it's been recorded into Live as an Audio Part that I'm having problems.

Hi thanks for the quick answer- I have experimented with the track delay settings in the past- it's just that I thought the Driver Error Compensation test gave Live a more accurate picture of the soundcard's real world latency figures and allowed it to compensate in turn?

Live 6.0.10 on a Dual 1.8 Ghz G5 running 10.4.10. Audio interface is the Mackie Onyx 1640 with Firewire Board and Midi is through a MOTU Express XT USB.

Buffer size is 256 Samples and I've used the Driver Error Compensations test ...

Thanks for the help but.....it doesn't work- it only works if you are trying to copy Automation on the same Track (ie copy a piece of Automation from Bar 5 to Bar 13 on the same track). If you try and copy the Automation from Track 1 to Track to, it doesn't work.

Help! I have a track recorded in Arrangement view and I want to copy it to another track. When I copy the Clip from Track 1 to Track 2 the Automation I recorded (send FX levels mostly) don't move with it- I've tried using teh Copy Envelope function but that doesn't move the Automation from Track to ...
