Re: How do artists support themselves??

BOC haven't licensed any of their music to films as far as I've been able to tell Their track 'Gyroscope' appears in 'The Consequences of Love', directed by Paolo Sorrentino in 2004. A beautiful movie btw :) i liked it too. check insomnia: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119375/ the whole movie scored...

Re: How do artists support themselves??

Thanks all. The responses have been interesting and there is some good info here. On another forum someone suggested that I actually contact some of these folks and just put the question to them. THAT would be interesting. "Umm excuse me. You don't know me from Adam, but I'd like to know how you sup...

BOC is probably the "biggest" of the names there and may well have licensed something (though I have not seen or heard it here in the States)...

How do artists support themselves??

Hi everyone, I'd really appreciate it if an interviewer would ask the straight up question: "So, [fill in the name], it's been three years since your last CD release. What have you been doing to put food on the table and keep the lights on?" Specifically, there are some artists that I listen to quit...

Re: Autechre Max patch

This site has some amazing material... mostly in Japanese but it seems like it's possible to dig some nice stuff out. thanks for posting! This may help... http://translate.go...

that sounds strange, please try if deleting Live´s preferences and template fixes the problem.
Open:
user/library/preferences/ableton/live 8.0.5

Delete the files preferences.cfg and (if available) template.als

Does Live boot up thereafter?

Best,
Jörg
That did the trick! Thanks.

LIVE 8.0.5 Hangs on launch...?

Hi.

Just installed 8.0.5. Can't get past the mini-splash screen. I get stuck where it says "Launching audio and midi ..." I have to force quit then reboot the machine.

Anyone else?

Re: Instrument presets do not load

Same thing here except for me the various sampler based instruments + presets seem to work/load. The audio and midi effects are fine also.
