Re: Cheap electric piano that doubles as a midi controller?

the casio looks decent, if it wasnt that BIG. the speakers seem to double the size and it would take my whole desk.

anyway, many thanks for your input. i'd still consider getting one if it would come cheap.

Re: Cheap electric piano that doubles as a midi controller?

Do you mean an actual electric piano (rhodes style), an electric keyboard that sounds like a piano, or just a keyboard with sounds? ... If you mean the middle (i.e. piano style keys) - probably your best bet is something like an old ensoniq ks32. It sounds decent for its age and the keys are a nice...

Re: Could Not be Read Corrupted Not Licensed

Yes, I had this problem too. I'm running Windows 7, Live 8.1. Who knows why, but installing Quicktime appears to have fixed it. Odd. Same here - installing/updating quicktime seems to be the thing same here, kind of wierd move from ableton isnt it? since they dont propose that as a "troubleshoot".

Re: AKAI APC 40 or ALESIS Master Control?

i plan to clean up my project studio desk so i am thinking of buying the alesis mastercontrol because it seems to fit all my needs within ableton live. i dont consider it because i want to "upgrade" my amps, converters etc. it should basically give me a little bit more flexibility and space. it will...

can u control all the parameters (like pitch, tune, decay) via midi controllers? that would be nice, the single knob makes it hard to fit into a live set
