I know I can do that. If you slice a pad into 60 bits and only want to use 6, then this is not an ideal solution. Thanks anyway. I assume there is no way. Seems like something that needs adding for anyone who slices with the Push.

Hi All - Is there a way to quickly and automatically clean up the pads in a drum rack that are not being used already? Either with or without push (ideally with but i have a feeling thats not the case).

Reason being is that i spend a lot of time chopping up samples, using say 5-10 slices, and then ...

I understand what people mean in that the file paths will be the same, so it should work.....but I will be moving all data from my current drive A, to my external HD B. So when I reinstall windows and ableton on A, then surely all the files on B will be pointing at A ...

One day ableton worked great, the next it became useless and froze every time on startup with a none moving progress bar saying it was buffering many samples. I have in installed and reinstalled, with no luck. Ableton is now useless and I have to reinstall windows as my last hope.

Thanks again, but I can't risk it without being sure. If I am reinstalling windows and transferring my whole current hard drive to an external drive, then the directory paths will still be pointing at the old C drive won't they?
