Hi there

I have just begun making my own sample library consisting of both instrument sounds and anything else :D

BUT, I am not sure about how I should arrange my samples? I record all my samples in Live, and sometimes edit them in Live before I store them in my messy labrary.

How do you arrange ...

Could a solution be to pitch the clip in clip view, and then use several clips pitched differently in multisampling mode, to avoid the speed changes?

When I save a Live Set the undo button turns grey and I cannot undo anything...
Is the undo history of a set deleted when you save it, or am I missing something?

Now I've got an audio clip (a guitar riff) in swing 8. Can Live change the clip to straight instead of swing?
Clip view already says that the groove setting is straight, so I cannot see how I should change it from swing to straight...?

Well okay, but still I need a program where you can collect midi clips and export them as a single midi file.

Does anyone know such a program?

I have a problem with Live not being able to export midi files type 0 or 1. Therefore I have to export midiclips as individual files.

So I need a simple and free program where you can collect midi clips and export them as a single midi type 0 or 1 file.

Is it possible to create time signature in midi clips?
I am working with midiclips playing with a guitar changing between 9/8 and 4/4, and it is very ignorring that the bar numbers in the grid does not match the guitars time signature.

For some time I've changed "straight" audio clips to swing 8, which works fantastically for me.

But am wondering if it is possible to do it the other way around? To change a swing 8 clip to straight?...

I have installed Bome's Midi Translator and Midi Yoke.

There is a preset for Ableton 6, which I have tried.

But Ableton does not recieve any MIDI-data at all
I have told Ableton ro recieve midi from MIDI Yoke 1.

Can anyone you help me?...

... A Cubase-user who also uses the keyboard hastold me in another forum that I have to give my sequencer (Live) some definitions of what different MTC-codes should do.

How do I do this in Live (is it possible?)?
