I've got a new laptop running 64 bit Windows 7. Using Live 8 on it seemed to be going fine until I tried loading a .mov video file. In Session View, I want to be able to delete all clip envelopes from a selection of midi clips. Is there any way to do this other than going to each clip one by one, deleting each envelope in turn ?

I've done a remix of a band called fujiya & miyagi for a contest over at acidplanet. Not that this is a plug for acid ( I of course only use Live 8) ) - it's just that I seem to need a deadline in order to ever finish anything and this has a deadline.

Anybody know what the latency figure means ?

From what I've heard of it so far, it's very disappointing. But I think that producing something as complex and detailed as "endtroducing" just drained his energies - understandably so perhaps but it took him 6 years to release a follow-up which itself was nowhere near as good. And now, another 4 ...

It says that beta 8 expires on July 19th which is yesterday - so will there be another beta or is the release upcoming ? I'd like to upgrade to version 5 but would prefer to wait until this latest update is available.

No, the Audio Buddy isn't digital, it's an analogue pre-amp that boosts low level signals such as from a mic. You would therefore connect it to the analogue ins on a soundcard. I used to have one, it's a good budget solution as it also provides phantom power for mics that need it.

Yeah, the live clips were great. Looking back, I'd have to say the Odetta stole the show. Her clip was amazing.
