I have ableton 8, and recently bought launchpad, launchkey adn launch control.
I want to use the pads from the launchkey as switches to turn on different vsts on my live set.
I can map them with the command+m option, but the pad just lights on for the time that I actually press on it...I would like ...

I´d like to see Ableton´s reply as well.

I have a couple of loops that are heavily compressed that I no longer can get ahold of the original files.
Is there any trick make it sound better?

Hi, I tried to do a search but I found nothing similar.

Is it possible to have a track with an ableton synth and other track with an impulse, arm both tracks but have the Axiom PADS control the impulse ONLY , and have the keys and knobs control the ONLY ableton synth notes and parameters without ...

any other options?
Is there any action that I can map to my midi controller, that make the clip wav to show up?
I dont care to have to map lots buttons to each individual clip. I just want to be able to view
the wave or the effect plug ins as needed, without touching keyboard/mouse.

I forgot to mention that I dont want to touch the computer or mouse to do this.

I want to know if there;s a way to switch view with my midi controller only.

I search in the forum and in the manual but I cant find a way to change from seeing the effects to see the clip wave in the session view via a midi button.
I can assign midi to each track but when moving from track to track that automatically change it to the effects view that I have on each track ...

Can I resample more than one track at a time?

I think that resampling only records what the mastering channel is outputting, right? That wont separate clips for me will it?

On a related question
If I freeze a clip and then move it to an audio track will that make a wav of the clip ...

why when I send 3 or 4 midi tracks to an audio track and click monitor in on that one I get constant noise on that audio track when I not playing anything?

I guess my question is how to go from my midi sort of mastered songs to a live set where I only want to have individual WAV clips?
