Hello,
It would be great if there were a batch bounce feature that would allow you to bounce out all of your channels as separate audio files in one go. This is useful if you want to for example move over into Logic to mix.
Thanks!

New file browser
Hello,
My wish would be that the file browser at left be reworked to involve a lot less scrolling and clicking. If I try to load say and audio effect rack, filed under reverbs, then choose a preset, I've got a LONG list of items now and when I next go to reach for an EQ it's going to be a long ...

Re: analog isn't really doing it for me..
Yeah it might be a great synth but I can't get past the UI either... Kinda a blessing and a curse with Ableton, the consistent UI does keep things really neat and simple but sometimes it just gets in the way. For example, the browser flat out sucks. It takes a bunch of clicks, and even more ...

Pickup in clip - how to handle musical pickups before a loop
I've posted something in the feature request area about how to deal with pickups (areas of a loop or phrase that precede the downbeat). I'm wondering how people usually deal with these, since the only solutions I can think of are a bit of a pain. You can see my feature request pasted below to ...

Clip Pickup Anchor
Something I dreamt up to solve a common issue I have.
Some loops have a pickup before their first beat. If you want them to loop correctly, you would have to ignore the pickup since it would, for example, add an extra beat or [nth] note to your loop. This leads to the common problem when building a ...

Re: "Run in background" type objects
Sorry that this topic has gone dormant. I'm really excited to get the wacom tablet working solidly in M4L.
G. can you elaborate on your udpsend/udpreceive solution?
Does anyone else have any other workarounds?
Thanks in advance, you're help is much appreciated.

Re: APC40 how to make it stop changing "focus"
Ah! Figured it out, disable "select on launch" in live preferences, wow makes using the APC40 a lot better, I highly recommend turning this off.

APC40 how to make it stop changing "focus"
Whenever you fire a clip, the device control knobs (bank of lower 8 knobs) on the the APC40 switch automatically to represent the devices on whatever track a clip was just triggered. So for example, if I am tweaking the device control knobs and then I fire a clip on another track, the knobs have now ...

Re: maxforlive.com
Perhaps a category for "Interface" - M4L devices built to take data in from common interface hardware (like the wacom tablet device i created, demo shown here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5FiC563GgM ) lots of other devices could be made for this category e.g. Monome, APC40, Launchpad etc.

Re: Video of my first bit of fun with M4L...
Thanks for the tip djod, I have to say the wacom object is not super stable in M4L, this is because it requires "focus" (in other words it doesn't run well in the background). Gregory Taylor helped out with this on this thread:

Re: "Run in background" type objects
I've enable the object to "run in the background" seems like it was designed to keep focus even when in other apps, however this does not work in Ableton, it stops reporting then randomly kicks back in. I have a feeling there might be a work around... anyone have any thoughts?
