None of these are software instruments per se- they are ...

Live and Sountrack Pro tip Question- Where R the plugs?
Does anyone know if you can point Live to where the Logic plugs folder for Soundtrack Pro are located?
I cannot seem to find the folder with the AU plugs themselves- am I missing something- or did Apple effectively hide them?
Any help would be appreciated- I simply want to instantiate the plug ...

ALTIVEC OR ESTIMATED % OPT for MACS
Mysterious silence from Live HQ about Altivec on the Mac...come on Abletons, if you've got something to tell us don't be shy, we're adults (and then some), we can take it ;)
Altivec, yea or nay? If nay, what is the optimization?
Well- I think we can guess from the Abe's silence on this issue and ...

REgarding Expose and Live
I simply went to system preferneces and changed the way Expose triggers (corners as hot keys instead of F11) as I really like Live to control the F11-
works like a charm.
Panther is great-
Live + Panther + optimized hard drive from Norton Utilities= Fantastic!
Cheers

Regarding version1.x demo
I would love to compare- but gosh- I really would have to search for the orginal disc-
If someone could email the arrangement and samples as an attachment to
[email protected]
I would be happy to try it out.
Cheers

OK- in all fairness, I optimized my hard drive after installing X.3, but I am VERY pleased so far with performance results-
one BUG: one Set all track volumes seem to be reset? too low- even thought the faders are the same- I can barely hear the tracks-I'll check the bug forum ...

OK- too early
I guess this poll was a little too early-
I am in between projects that pushed my system on 10.2.8 on my TiBook 15" 800 MHz off internal or external HD- so I will upgrade to Panther in the next 48hours- then load some pretty heavy projects with multiple Waves plugs etc and report back-
Wish me luck ...

Live 3 + OS X.3 Panther: Performance Poll for G4/5's
Hi everyone:
hoping to get some feedback from the few brave that have proceeded with X.3 Panther upgrades using G4 or G5 processors regarding performance issues-
taking into account nothing else has changed on your CPU (same RAM / hard drive etc.).

performance in 2.1- hopes for 3.x
I just finished a major project in Live- after recording vocals into Reason/ using ReCycle to change form 130 to 132 bpm and slice for sampling- doing a basic remix/import in to Live.
Then trigger midi via Protools and record Virus-> transfer to Live-
(why didn't I just record into Live and edit? I ...

Waves Plug instability with Live 2.x (all versions) on OS X
Mac G4 Ti 800 MHz w/ 512 MB RAM, OS 10.2.6
I have yet to have a successful run of any Waves plugs for more than a couple of sessions in Live without a crash.
Waves plugs run without any trouble in Peak/Cubase so this must be a Live issue-
