Former Live Studio user who sold off his license and now eight years later came back and purchased Live Standard.

When Live Standard is launching I see a message that it is starting Max. Since Max4Live isn't in Standard, what does this message mean?

* There is NO option in the Neutron In track Audio From drop down menu that says Neutron Midi.
* I DO get audio from the Neutron Midi track even though there is nothing providing me with options for audio routing (that I can see).
* I can use the Ext. In drop down menu of the Neutron In audio ...

The Tac-2 doesn’t work with Apple Silicon, period. Zoom posted that info on their web site back in 2021.

What works? My MOTU M2 works fine with my M1 MacBook Air. It has the bonus of MIDI ports, each input has it’s own direct monitor and phantom power switch, there are meters not just clip LEDs and ...

What computer, what version of Windows?

How long were you using Live on this machine before you started to experience this problem?

Just double click on the top of the window of ANY application and it should fill the screen, corner to corner.

Works fine on my MacBook 13” screen as well as a 27” 4K monitor screen, which do not have the same aspect ratios.

Are you just starting to use Live for the first time?

It is not enough to arm the track, you also have to choose a clip to record into.

What’s your interface(s)? Does the manufacturer have Win 11 drivers available? If so, I'd just use them.

When I use no third party plugins, Live never hangs or crashes for me. I started with 7 and am now on 12.

The MOTU driver is required for Windows, which is typical. It’s optional for Mac because it works with the Core Audio driver in Mac OS as a class compliant device. The driver is only required for the loopback channels and does give a small improvement in latency.

Nowadays most of us have computers with multiple CPU cores. How a DAW chooses which cores to use and how threads are allocated is different. Even plugins that have switches for single and multi core operation may not treat the multiple cores the same.
