check presonus firebox, it has 6 outputs, spdif output, and the headphone output which can be used to route any other output, like the spdif one.

you can not filter each channel individually though..

you can also group all your tracks, route them through 1 audio channel, and do the filtering in that channel (whichs is obviously "audio to: master") that way you only use 1 vst and when you have the filter turned off audio still goes to master channel unfiltered.

i also started with x-session pro, making the mix in live, but i really think EQ3 is no good for mixing, maybe you would like to check some other DJ-eq plugins.

i've tried it, it has a great feel in knobs, faders, keys, and i think it depends.

what would you use it for?

i sometimes use my laptop pc as effect, with NI Reaktor Standalone or similar, and Traktor or Live in the mac.

I love Presonus Firebox too.

I've never had any problems installing it in windows or mac.

If you will use it for recording: it has Class A preamps. I've read (not experienced myself) about a a bug in macintosh that affects mic input 2 (some noise or something) though, but overall its really nice ...
