Hey Man

I am not familiar with the bcf2000 which could be part of the problem. All I can say with that is make sure you have the latest drivers and such. I have an mpc and I trigger sounds in Live all the time or I slave the mpc to Live if there is a beat I have done on the mpc.

I run it on a Mac, but the same applies for PC. You launch Pro Tools first and have Live rewired into PT. Pro Tools is the master, all tempo stuff would be set in PT. The sync is spot on. You press play in PT, Live starts. It doesn't involve any midi stuff.

If you have Pro Tools (I am assuming LE) up and Live rewired into an aux track, set the aux track output to a bus. Set up an audio track with the input of the bus. Arm record and off you go. 8)
