Is yoko dead? I only ask because the only way I could conceive of reading those words: 'yoko WAS bad', is in the past tense - Like: 'she WAS bad when she WAS alive.'

In the present tense it just doesn't make sense - there is no conceivable way anybody of sound ...

I was having the same problem updating the OS with the editor, and I think what finally worked was using MIDI-OX to send the .syx.

The X-Station will definately give you further confirmation when it is getting the OS.

If you get a case like this,

then you can save a bunch on the HD, plus, you can easily upgrade the drive alone, AND it's USB and firewire so you can move it around among all sorts of computers.

And look for Audacity if you want a good, quick, and free one.

The way I look at it, great music will sound great on an AM radio that lacks good reception, and shitty music will sound shitty on the most pristine, kick ass concert PA.

I had no problems installing the new windows drivers on SP2.

I did have problems updating the X-station OS from their template editor, and had to send the .syx from Midi-OX.

Before, with the older drivers, I was getting glitches here and there in Live, no matter what I did - Stripped down XP ...

And M-Audio *is* known for rice-crispy sound cards. Beware.

And keep in mind, you can save a lot (or get a bigger HD for the same price) by getting a case like this:
