was your als file on the computer, or on an external hard drive (formatted ntfs perhaps?). if external, you'll need some software for the mac to write to it--or you'll need to back it up and reformat for the mac. if on the computer, you may want to double-check the permissions just to see if ...

logic does a number of things well. But there's always room for additions. Personally, I'd love to see:

freezing multi-output vsti's a la sonar
separate lanes within a single track a la sonar
improved track folders (open in same window) a la sonar
performance on mac platform that matched the ...

i like live and was much excited by the additions in 4 and 5, but now that the honeymoon has worn off, there are a number of things that prevent me from thinking of it as better than, well, second class...

How do I get live to respect the knob movement preferences set up in the standalone version of arturia's moog modular v2? (i prefer linear movement, but all i get is circular.) what can i do?

is it just me or shouldn't L5's freeze handle vsti's with multiple outs? (sonar 4 freeze actually rocks in this respect.) and why is it that L5 wastes precious cpu cycles animating frozen gui's if they happen to be onscreen?! why is it when i narrow a track, the first thing to become completely tiny ...

Is no one using a single proc g5 powermac or imac? Do we really expect no difference from the duals, or no?
