Hi everyone.
I've been using the Microtonic drum VST for a month or 2 now, and I'm really into it..i only have one problem:
Live will not save the pattern change data I have written in my tracks that use the Microtonic.
For example, over the course of a 5-7 minute track-I'll use several or all of ...

From my (limited) understanding, the problem with not having matching RAM will be that you computer can't operate in DDR mode. Therefore you'll be slowing down by half

However, it is possible that 1.25G running at half speed would be better than 512MB running at normal (double) speed...

i believe i had the same problem...a little disconcerting at first though, so don't freak out!!
this is vaguely discussed in the manual-you need to have a firewire card with TI chipset.....
so, don't waste your time going to Microcenter or best buy..
this was a $40 pci-slot card that i ordered ...

i have a shuttle pc that was built for me about 2 years ago...
not to sure of the exact specs, but i have Athlon processor-1.83 gigaherz..
at least 512 of ram, possibly more..
