yeah i tried the support address and they replied right away, the customer support one i tried first and got no reply.

try support@ they replied and sorted it out within 24hours! the one thing i will miss is abletons customer service, they have always been good for me.

you get 2 unlocks, as far as im aware, i had live5 unlocked on my desktop for working at home and unlocked it on my laptop for djing.

same here, i emailed a week ago, no reply, not really able to make international phone calls, i dont expect an immediate response but a week is reasonable is it not? ill send another email to be sure. i emailed the customer care address.

must be a macbook thing as i have one using a c2d imac and its great, only thing is it loses connection if you put the imac to sleep - but then so does the wireless net adaptor so its a apple problem not focusrite

i like the kenton one, perfect for djing in conjunction with the trigger finger, its not that pricey really, its just a bespoke product, £200 aint that bad, i dont want a big thing like the bit stream as for djing i dont need loads of channels, for me the trigger finger & this new kenton should be ...

i think bt are a poor telecoms provider and their inability to invest in the uk phone line infrastructure means i have shitty slow broadband

get a midi translator like bomes and convert them to key strokes, then map keys to transport controls and it works fine

ah cool, thanks, at least i can get on with l6 then, and when the time comes ill have to sort out migration to mac

seem as though tommorow we can get l6 proper - cant wait. after the beta im gonna upgrade my l5 to 6 with sampler and operator.

my questions, is operator and sampler teamed with impulse the best way to go, ive got bogged down on having the latest/best plugs which when ive tried the demos ...

well i added a external hd to my existing set up and it happily goes between my desk and laptop and live doesnt bat an eyelid.

i use ms pinky and the vst pinky pluggo - it works ok, no noticable latencey but the plug in window is very restrictive. i may just buy torq and compare it to pinky & the u46dj card with built in pre amps i use, i think with the torq program and the fact i use a trigger finger too ill run it and ...

oh come on - the murmers of live 6 have been around for a good few months now - do you REALLY need to upgrade, does live 5 not do what you bought it for?? i researched and had used live 4, and bought live 5 day it came out, it does everything i need, but if i hadnt bought 5 id be paying full whack ...

yeah - just back here because of the l6 stuff, so was noseying around my old pm's. yeah would be cool to start a northwest type thing, im now getting stuck on stuff dj/production wise and would be cool to meet up with users to actually see how others do stuff
