Start with a small section. Like 4 bars of the acapella looped. Adjust the warps so it sounds good against your backing beat and then move on to the next 4 bars and so on. Some songs are easier than others.

it does "try" to play. it just never plays. i see the qt logo and then it never starts playing. maybe it's explorer. sometimes these things work in other browsers. i'll give it a try with netscape sometime.

I used that set for the raum...musik label tour in Germany and Switzerland in April and it changed a bit but not too much. I guess every time you play it's a little different depending on how you use the efx and which parts you bring in when etc. My next gig ...

thanks for the reply but that wasn't it. i was listening to the rendered files with the pre-listen function not actually loading them back into the track.
i seem to have fixed it though. i noticed there was an update to 1.5 so i d/led it and installed 1.5.2 and now it seems to work fine.

For some reason when I render in Live it leaves out the fx that i'm using unless they're ones on the sends. The fx that are on the track directly aren't recorded. There is some change to sound of the rendered file but it's very slight. It doesn't sound anything like the original from the master out ...

Tibook 400 w/ Peavey 1600x controller.

Hmmm, I'm getting around 9 tracks with maybe 3 or 4 effects before I get to 65% and I'm on a Tibook 400. So it does seem strange that he's not getting any better performance with a more powerful cpu. I think I need to get the 600 ibook. 13 tracks and 8 fx!!! sweet!
