I would even argue that the beat he used for Principles of Lust/Sadeness is even more universally recognizable than the Amen Break. Show up to a party full of average people and play the Amen Break and you'll get a bunch of blank stares ...

I was just wondering how long it usually takes to receive the box - I've just upgraded to Live 7 suite and I want my manual and all the goodies!

The online shop says I should receive a tracking email from UPS as soon as the item is shipped, but I haven't received that yet...

Thanks for your reply. The weird thing is that the FA101 is still working fine with Live 5, Logic Pro, Itunes etc, so it does look like it's something to do with Live 6. I never had any problems with it before upgrading to Live 6.

I'm having a bit of a nightmare with Live 6. It plays fine for between say 5 minutes and half an hour, then the audio drops out completely with no error message or anything. It works if I switch over to the Mac's built in audio, but to get any sound out of the FA101, I have to restart the computer ...

highlights for me were four tet funking up his stuff for the outdoor dancefloor after the rain and later massive attack i thought they would be good but they seriously blew my head off! heavy as......of course the superb sound system there helps...

does anyone know which, if any, tracks on the ableton open source code CD were actually produced in Live? (awesome CD by the way for anyone who hasn't heard it!)

yes i had the same problem, but found that it works fine if you click "plug in view" instead of double clicking on the effect slot to edit fx.
