Installer files
Hi All,
This is probably a very basic and stupid question, but are installer files necessary to keep once the program has been installed? Im using windows 10. They are taking up quite a bit of space in the downloads folder.
Thanks

Re: Falcon 2 macro control
Hi, appreciate the reply. This was semi helpful as I did learn about right clicking to assign to host daw. But this way is very tedious and confusing. It gives a list of 128 values to assign the knob to. Thing is though, I have no idea what those 128 things are in the daw and it would be way too tim...

Falcon 2 macro control
Hi all, I've been checking out the newly updated version of falcon and so far it seems really great. Anyway, I cant seem to configure any of the parameters to be used with lives macros. Here's what I'm doing: on the vst wrapper the configure button let's you map parameters from the vst. This doesn't...

Re: Creating loop of a guitar riff
Hi. This is what I do. I like to record into session view. You just hit the circle on an empty slot and a new clip will start recording. You can record pretty much as long as you want to. Once you have a recorded clip you can highlight sections within the clip that you want to loop and use cntrl+l t...

Re: midi drum patterns
I like addictive drums. It comes with a bunch of patterns that you can drag into Ableton.
But have you tried just editing the ones you already have? Cutting, rearranging splicing, ect...All done randomly can lead to some very interesting results.

It also comes with a manual which I have found pretty handy at times. If you are a newbie, You'd be remiss not to at least thumb through it.

Re: Problem with midi patterns
It is strange for sure. If I had to guess, it seems that whatever instrument you are using the polyphony may be set to 1 note, monophonic. So, only one octave would play - the first to hit. If this is the case then before adjusting the start point, the lower octave hits first, but after moving the s...

Re: Music Theory for Musicians and Normal People
Sparky, the music theory dog!? I love it! Also, I like the old font and two-tone 60's-ish design, I don't know what this style is called, but its really pleasing on the eyes and makes me more interested in reading on. From what I see so far there is some really good stuff in there. I bookmarked it s...

I'd like to know why this site is plagued by spammers. But I suppose that falls under the 10% of forum questions it doesn't solve. Oh well...
I don't know what the i6 is, but whatever it is I Want One!
