I've ordered an AMD 2800+ laptop, 526 RAM and 5400 rpm HD, because I really like my AMD desktop.

But this weekend I've read the Future Music feature about laptops and it said AMD laptops are new and it's unknown how they work with music.

Anyone having experiences with Live taking live with an AMD ...

I'm using Live 5 with Cubase VST 5.1x through rewire. I've frozen all vst-instruments and effects in Live (to spare time, but it's not very flexibel).

I think they made the best Bond soundtrack EVER. It's one of my favorite breakbeat classics. But to be honest, imo the rest of the album didn't even came near.

Yes, with Live you can group tracks. There's just one annoying thing: if you solo the group track, you hear nothing. You have to solo all tracks in the group too. In Cubase (Logic, Sonar?) just soloing the group is enough.

I've got the same problems with rendering while rewiring Live with Cubase VST 5.1. Even rendering one Live through rewire track didn't work.

On earlier posts someone from Ableton said rewiring wasn't the right procedure for rendering. But what is the purpose for mixing together if you can't ...

But the major wish is still peak level display.
