*i have live's midi prefs as follows:

remote control input= bcf2000
sync input = bcf2000 with midi timecode checked

*my mpc midi settings are:

sync out - MTC

send MMC = on

then on the main mpc screen i have it set to midi: 1a device01



the bcf2000 can control any setting i want ...

thanks for the response Kinetic Kid... i'm at work right now so i can't test out your tips.. but as soon as i get home i'm going to try and make this work. on my previous attempts to make live and my mpc sync together i didn't switch the mpc from drum1 to the midi setting. maybe that was my problem ...

maybe you should look into ni traktor for your powerbook dj needs.

my traktor setup is an ibook g4, mbox, oxygen 8 and a vestax pmc17a
