Mine is somewhat different, it exists within the same ux paradigm as tagging, to simplify. I'd be happy with either.

I'd like to add that this would also help with plugins I don't want to use anymore but might exist in older projects. There is really no other way to deal with those in a simple ...

I drew up a simple version of how this could present.

This looks amazing.

I downloaded the latest beta, it managed to get through re-scanning plugins without crashing.

Subsequently, I re-opened Live non-beta, and since the re-scan is done it's not crashing.

So there's hope, kids.

Just wanted to let y'all know if there are any other cowboys like me out there.

I've got nothing mission critical in Ableton at the moment (if I had I wouldn't have updated), I'll post here once this resolves.

This isn't a bug report, just a warning to other users.

Oh and for context, there's also been a lot of posts (more on the beta forum) where people will talk down whatever features they themselves don't need, I think a frustration over that just kind of popped like a zit when I read that... But I don't think that's where you were going ...

Quick answer - QuNexus side:

Press and hold shift, press MPE/CH twice. The button should blink. Press the arrow button (-oct) until the 1 button is selected.

This is to set mpe to single channel, or channel one, or something.

The manual is a nightmare.

just extend the column, drag to make the column wider. A new bpm field will appear.

Just got a QuNexus Red.

I've gotten it to send the expressive data to synths in Ableton. But it doesn't come in as MPE, it comes in as oldschool midi data. Aftertouch and such. And as such, not polyphonic. Not in the nice new editor.
I did everything the tutorials describe to go into MPE mode, but ...

I'm trying to recover settings for the VST2 plugins in an Ableton project.

I'm on an M1, I'm using Battery (among other things) and it does not load. Indeed, no VST plugs load on the machine.

Opening Ableton in Rosetta does not help.

I tried building one of these the other day. It was too complicated.

Making one with envelope followers and Auto Filters would not have the visual feedback of the genre of EQs that ProQ has spawned.

There are so many plugins that do this now that I'd say this should be a stock Audio Effect ...
