I just purchased an MFB Synth II and can record midi in to clip automation. But when I play back the clip it isn't receiving the automation. Do I need a midi to CV converter? I mean the synth is sending CC but it doesn't receive? Someone help! I need automation and I'm golden.

If you want to DIY...

There is no maximizer in Live.
But I think under the Mastering presets there is a Rack that basically makes one.
Otherwise, you'll have to make a Multiband Dynamics rack yourself.
Use 3 chains (or more). And drop an EQ then a Compressor in each ...

My advice is not to use one.

Just had a look at the user manual on the M-Audio site.
I didn't see anything regarding this.
I use live and in the user manual of the PMix it give a breakout of what the AUX buttons are mapped to.

And for some reason the M-Audio form doesn't have a search function. Good luck trying to find ...
