When I'm doing the mix down on a song, I'm assuming that I don't want the master track level red lining. Why does it red line even when all my other tracks are in the green? do I want to lower the master level so that it's in the green, and then let mastering take care of the rest? or do I leave the ...

specifically....

I am using the Auto Filter on a audio track, but I only use it for one small section. So I automate the device to turn on and off in my desired location, but when I am listening to it during playback, I can hear a "Bleep" sound.

How can I avoid this? does this happen to everyone ...

as per your advice, I removed a VST from the set I was working on, and it turns out that it is Sonik Synth 2 that is causing the problems.

does anybody else have an issue with this synth???

Every so many (varying) minutes an error message pops up that says...

I was just wondering if any of you know of any visual programs that can sync to Ableton Live V.5.

Basically I want to be able to create my own visuals and have them sync to the different loops or tracks that I create in Ableton.

Any ideas??

oh....I actually don't use Ableton to perform live. I use Ableton only to put together my tracks before they are mastered. I find it very useful to put together short ideas on a whim and turn them into something much larger.

I just finished a song that I made at 145 BPM. After I mixed it and everything, I played it out at a club and decided that I made it too fast. so I went to change the BPM down to 138, but now everything sounds seriously funny. everything is no longer in time with other ...

it's not registering as a VST. I have installed dozens of VSTi and VST effects in the past with no problems at all.

of course I "re-scan" in options to pick up the VST and it is installed in my VST folder, but nothing is registering

Hmmm....I can't seem to get Absynth 3 to work with Ableton.

does anyone else here use Absynth? am I retarded?

I've used Battery 2 with Ableton fine. I would assume Absynth would work fine as they are both made by Native Instruments.

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated
