Hi,
is there a way to have the audio monitoring that is enable as Auto to Off by default.
Ok, I could create a template but that is NOT what I want, I just want to start up
Ableton and the Audio channel should have monitoring to Off. Do-able ?
Cheers

Re: 8.1, VSTi loading, Win7
Hi,
Try to disable the UAC (User Account Control) in Windows 7 and put everything (the VST's that is) like they were
before. This may help.
Cheers

Re: Windows 7 - Issues when installing the Ableton Live Suite 8
Hi everybody,
Just an quick update.
It was exactly that. Faulty RAM. I removed 2 of my 4Gigs and then cleaned up the erroneous install
of Live 8.0.8 and the setup ran smooth. So tomorrow I'll buy some new RAM. I guess that Windows 7 64 bit
will install now correctly as well so that may be an even ...

Hi Mdb,
Thanks for the advice but the unzip is ok now. It's the setup.exe that give me a hard time. I'm gonna run memtest86+ when i get home. See if the RAM in my PC is ok.
Some strange things going on with Win 7 if you ask me.

Windows 7 - Issues when installing the Ableton Live Suite 8
Dear users,
I have experienced the following issues on Windows 7 32-bit
I downloaded the Ableton Live Suite 8.0.8 and unzipped it. First there were
some errors (CRC32 error failure). So I ran a chkdsk /f /r on all my disks
and man, there were some serious corrupted index descriptors etc ...

Midi Control Changes per device
Dear Support,
I'm using a Mackie C4 controller to handle the device parameters. It would be very beneficial
if those control changes could be set per device. Now when I assign a knob for a device and use that same knob on another device, both devices change their parameter at the same time.

I felt compelled to reply to this rather 'BS' post. Anyway..
I'm a software engineer and I do understand the fact that Ableton at some point needs to deliver the product. One way or another, Beta testing must stop and the software must be released. This is just a raw economical fact. They need to ...

Live 8 use it now or wait a bit longer
Hi,
This is my first post. How are you all ? :-)
I bought Live 7 after the 15th of January so I was eligible for the free upgrade to Live 8 Suite which I'm pretty
happy with. Live 7 has been great and I have little doubt Live 8 will be less than that. However I'm a bit afraid to jump right
