What the title says, that is, the content of a textedit object always reverts to it's default state saved with the max device. I don't know if it works but I found something called "expected latency" in the patcher inspector, but I can't find any mention of it anywhere, I'm guessing if its what we're looking for, you're supposed to specify the latency in samples, no?

Well, I for one have been using reaktor like that, sending midi-notes to it when it is used as a audio-effect... So I wouldn't say it is one of live's limitations really...

With plugin~ and plugout~ being a central part of m4l, it would make sense to have plugmod as a part of it too, is it supposed to work in M4L or are we supposed to go the Live.API route when controlling external device parameters? A big problem is not being able to send midi notes to audio effects at all IMO...
Sure, devices need to be classified as audio OR midi-effects, but I think it should be possible to route midi to audio effects and vice-versa, why?

It seems that I have no Max4Live preset devices in my betalibrary, is it supposed to be this way?

I'm also having this problem, it says on my account on ableton.com that I have the M4L beta license but I've tried online, offline, deleted unlock.cfg and none of those things makes the authorization process authorize the M4L beta.

With Win7 having native multi-touch support I can't imagine Snow Leopard not having some hidden drivers already built in, with apple products in the pipeline to compete with microsofts multi-touch products.
