I have made the following changes and matched up with your suggestions, how about the live midi preference table?

My routing is :

909 Midi TX out to 2x2 midi sport in A
Midi 2x2 A Out to 909 RX in

Midi 2x2 sport to comp via usb

My 909 audio master outs at first where plugged into a line in my ...

I am familiar with the master and slave modes and I want to be able to trigger the 909 from Ableton and record in midi loops etc from the 909.

The 909 manual is pretty vague and the midi fields provide the following settings:

Seq Sync =
Synce Mode - Master / Slave / Remote
Sync Output - On / off ...

Anybody able to do this? I can send and receive data and record midi info into a clip but cannot remote start and stop and playback is silent.

There is also no sound from the clips piano roll either and I am able to see data coming through all active channels from the box.

hmm, I did a search and nothing had popped up that had already existed..

I originally did a search under computers with the mindset of "Program" in mind.

Seems there a total of 3 groups, maybe redirect to the group with the most numbers or start a local Ableton chapter, sounds like a kinda cool ...

What role does the decoding cache in the preferences provide? I've tried a search and looked through the manul but could not find a solid explanation along with optimal settings.

I'm not trying to take advantage of the demo, I've fooled around with it and now I can't save the original track that I started with after putting some time behind it....

Its worth a shot to remove the Operator demo, any suggestions on how? I'm sure it will be installed once again during the next upgrade -

No saving is available period. So far I have just recorded the track real time into Sound Forge.

Any other ideas?

I was in my normal 5 mode while working on a track and clicked on the operator demo to check it out. I thought it was pretty cool but moved on and eventually put some time in on my current track totally forgetting that I was in demo mode. I went to save the project and yup I'm screwed, uggh.

Mine did the same thing, I was using a crack and was able to get 3.0 from a friend.
