I have a g4/667 with a MOTU 828.
It's a good configuration for what you guys are discussing, but these output levels are so quiet.
How do I connect the outputs of my 828 to the inputs of my DJ mixer without having to crank the gain to ungodly level?
I know there must be a simple solution to this ...

ouch!
Hope the gig goes well.
I have almost the exact configuration, and no problems.
(although i have only 512MB of RAM)
You may want to verify that the ASIO driver is in the right Live folder.
Or check the audio settings:
1. Device type ASIO
2. MOTU FireWire Audio
3. Buffer Size = 512 samples

Live performance with Live
I'm using Live with a G4 laptop/Motu 828.
I like to split 4 channels across 2 stereo inputs on a dj mixer.
it's a good way to keep rocking.
I have a serious problem with my output levels on the 828 though.
Do i need some sort of amp between the 828 and the dj mixer?
I mean, i can't just CRANK ...

Disable Live/Reason Rewire Link
How do I break the link between my Live application and Reason Rewire broadcast?
I think it's a great feature and plan to put it to good use, but right now it's just annoying. (for monitoring and other reasons)
If i could just turn off the rewire connection between the 2 apps, everything would be ...

One shot samples
Can anyone tell me how to simply shut off the Warp engine for an individual clip?
I have a lot of "one-shot" samples that do not require looping or time stretching.
I know the answer is probably in this FAQ somewhere, but i'm not sure the search feature is working properly......

Sound Manager
I think you've got something there.
If sm is piped through my 828, and Peak favors that configuration, it makes for a pretty sticky switch back and forth.
any idea if Peak 3.0 supports asio?

Type 2 Error
I have had 3 severe crashes in Live, resulting in a Type 2 Error.
-Powerbook 666, 512 MB
-Motu 828
-Live 1.5.2
-Peak LE
I think the problem is related to using Peak LE as the audio editor when I'm recording with Live.
The crash occurs after 2 or 3 back and forths between Peak and Live on the same ...
