Which Version of Ableton Live are you using ? Also did you update Maschine to the latest Version (which is 1.5) right now ?

And has anybody had 8 run better on 10.6 than it did on 10.5?

I had a lot of speed stepping issues like crackling in the sound once the cpu goes up due to plugin usage. There is a huge advantage on 10.6 and i don´t have to use coolbook anymore. Was about time apple fixed this on the portables ...

Live is running rock solid even since 10.6.0, never had any problems and i would never go back to 10.5 with that pesky speed stepping issues.

I'm leaning towards Live and Maschine too, but I have a feeling that Maschine running in Kore Standalone might in fact be the dogs bollocks when it comes to getting ideas down. I like getting ideas down without using a DAW.

Kore and Maschine do acutally work quite nice together, i still prefer to ...

Its a great decision to get Maschine but i would still keep the APC40. The combo of both is just ace like hell. Maybe you can sell your body or something ?

So does this work with the Launchpad and if what else is required ? I still cant find any info on this on the net. If it works i would even buy m4l finally.
