Hi Dinga

I increased the amount of allocated memory to 400 mb and it works. Next step is decreasing it again.

Glad it's gonna work out now.

cheers

Type 2 error when loading liveset

Hi all,

When i try loading a set (originally from Live 2) in Live 3, i get a type 2 error. It's a rather big set, but in V2 i didn't have any problems loading it...

Any ideas on this?

My system: Ti-book G4 667 - 512 Mb

thanks

I saw his performance at Sonar, but it was not very easy to see what he was using (and i'm not that geeky to climb on stage to check the gear).
It looked like he was using some old analog stuff (Korg MS-style). I'm not sure he was using a laptop though. Maybe an MPC and one or the other real-time ...

Hi,

I would go for an external soundcard. The sound quality is obviously much better. I have a Ti-book 667, and the mini-jack is very noisy. Other people i know use it in live situations without an external soundcard though.
Depending on what soundcard you're using, CPU usage will probably be a bit ...

Are you sure you did assign enough memory to Live? I think error code 3 indicates a memory problem.
I had this too, but with Logic Audio. After trashing the preferences, my problems were gone.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply. I'm using OS 9.2.
I've just rebooted Live, and i even get this error message while booting, and after the error message, nothing happens.

And yes, i power up my firewire devices before switching on the PB.

cheers

Error: "Directory has been deleted

Hi all,

Just got 2.1. Only after a few hours of fooling around wih it, i can tell it rocks.
I encountered one problem though: I have a firewire harddrive connected to my Ti-book 667. When i try to open the drive in the browser window, i get the following error: Directory has been deleted. A bit ...
