Spaces is pretty cool i set mine up only the other day also, the only programs i use tho are live and maschine and maschine is 3rd party plugin so no need for tabs really, but im pretty sure ill use it more as time goes on.

On my mac os x, im running maschine 3rd party at all times and ive only crashed 3 times so far....other then that been working really well...
