When you look at the "directory" feature, isn't there supposed to be a tab to show all the Atmosphere sounds as well?

I loaded an old version of Tracktion onto my new PC, authorized Omnisphere with it, and now its working fine in Live 8

Had an older version of Tracktion (2.0) authorized with Mackie so I installed that and authorized Omnisphere through it. When I opened Live and tried launching Omnisphere, It worked. Omnisphere is a thing of beauty.

Did you ever get a reply from spectrasonics about this that made sense? Is there a workaround? I really don't want to have to load another DAW on my laptop.

Are you using Windows Vista? When I try and authorize Omnisphere there is no challenge code to copy???

When I tried to authorize Omnisphere, I am told that there is a problem with Live 8 not showing a challenge code. Is there a work around for this?

How did you get around the fact that there is no challenge code for omnisphere? On the website it says "run Omnisphere in admin mode" and since I just migrated from a blow'd-up Mac to PC, I have no idea what that means. Did you run Omnisphere in demo mode?

I'm eagerly awaiting my boxed version of Live 8. In the meantime, I'm using downtime between classes to get reacquainted with the program. I'm running through a bunch of the tutorials just to get up to speed on some of the new features.

yeah, I clicked around and figured out most of the stuff. Thanks. It's been since version 5 since I've used Live, and I'm just getting reacquainted with it. Glad I made the upgrade!

Thanks for the help. I clicked on that, went away for about thirty minutes, checked it, waited a bit more, and then finally the installer started!

Do I need to drag all the stuff tagged .alp into the "default packages" folder? I see a ton of stuff with that extension in there

The instructions state
? "drag the file called Samplication.alp to Live's application window"

Um, I've dragged it everywhere onscreen and it won't take. Can anyone please tell me specifically where to put this file?
