Hey Guys
Do any of you find benefit in using Magic AB instead of just routing reference tracks within Live? I keep hearing tremendously good things about Magic AB but I think it might only be if you are using another DAW cuz it seems like you could set up something very similar if not better using ...

Grand Piano Probs
Anyone know how to brighten and liven up Live's Grand Piano from the Grand Piano Pack. I'm trying to achieve a sound like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=spIyzp8XDn4/watch?v=spIyzp8XDn4, But the piano sounds super dull in comparison. I have tried eq and multiband compression but it makes the ...

Re: Synth reverb or external reverb? (Trance & Progressive)
The reverb on reverb thing was where i was getting confused. That's why i was wondering if it would just be best to eliminate the synth reverb in favor of a reverb plugin. And sorry but i don't understand why you brought up EQ and compression, seems irrelevant to what i'm asking. Perhaps you can ...

Synth reverb or external reverb? (Trance & Progressive)
Hey guys, I'm curious about how you apply reverb on synth parts. Do you guys use the reverb built in to the synth or deactivate it to use an external reverb processor? I've heard that when applying reverb to electronic music you don't have to be concerned about using the same reverb on all your ...

Might have solved the random audio dropout problem!!!
I came across this by complete accident and i really hopes this helps everyone else who has had this problem. There have been times where i am using Live and randomly the audio will begin to drop out and glitch, even when the cpu meter is showing low percentages, between 9-20%. Last night i was ...

Re: Joshua Casper - TFYTA [Dubstep/Glitch Hop]
I like your first track a lot better than the 2nd one. Very very very very impressed. The only thing i can say about it is that it could use some more low end. But other than that, that shit is ccllluuuutttccccchhhh. Keep it up!

Plugin window keyboard override
I have been having an issue lately with my vst plugins overriding my keyboard in Live. As soon as I use my mouse to adjust a parameter in the plugin GUI or to move the window, no keys on my keyboard will work. I can't even use the space bar to stop playback. For about a day or two everything seemed ...

Weakened beginning transient
Hey guys. I've been noticing lately that when i record a kick drum loop into a new audio track, the first beat of the bar is weaker than the hits that follow. When i look closely at the waveform, i can see that the transient is somewhat "squished". What i do after this is, chop out the first beat ...

Re: Glueing Sub Bass On Screaming Lead Line
Hey Vios, i don't put my sub and top end in an instrument rack just because while listening to a few artists that i admire, (Porter Robinson, Skrillex, etc.) it sounds like they just use one sub synth to layer under most if not all of their sounds. To me this seems like a good idea because it will ...
