It's not hard to work it out, as per this previous post = 0-5% better on 5.
The way people are doing it now doesn't offer any real performance differential information between different machines and config, as we have no idea what other peoples machines are really ...

Hi all,
Searched through the archives and had a look round the Evolution site, and I'm very confused about this control surface.
Are there 2 models? If so, is the "E" model an update to the original? If so, what's the difference?
I'm looking to get one off Ebay (Skint after buying Live and Reason ...

As everyone uses Live differently, no-one is going to be able to really give you what you need to know. Except yourself of course. I am sure Live *can* do what you want, but whether it *will* or not is another matter entirely.
I'd suggest trying the demo, now is a good time to do that with V5 now ...

If you are going to reset the date on your laptop, then a) make sure you do it in the BIOS as well as the OS, and b) (not sure about mac) for XP, don't connect it to the net or the xntp daemon will go update the time to the correct one.
Also, reset it by putting it back a few days before it is due ...

I don't really trust the user profiles within XP, and no matter how cleverly you manage the app's in the profiles, there will still be loads of other apps starting up anyway regardless of which user you use. I'm not sure how much "Tweaking" you could do to one profile that would be of any practical ...

If your audio tracks are set to 4/4, try setting the global quantize to 4 bars. Watch the flashing play lights to show it's waiting for the next time to drop in the new track, and check it matches the beats. If it doesn't then you have probably got one of your tracks warped wrong so it starts in the ...
