Just tested Limelight FX plugin...MIDI routing is not possible, only audio. See screen grab below.

Thanks for tips, they've been very helpful. Haven't played around yet with MIDI on limelight, but i'll try as you suggest! Do you get pops when you switch snaps on the fly?

Can you please advise how I can go about getting the files?

Anyone know how to get NIN The Hand That Rocks in PC version for remix, preferably format that Ableton Live can use? Love to remix this...great way to learn software!

Got it! Changed routing, and it works. Thanks Clearscreen...I guess the output of limelight sequenced data is audio instead of midi. Makes sense now.

Although, it would be nice to transfer Limelight sequenced MIDI data direct to Live MIDI data so that ALL final MIDI editing is done in Live ...

Thanks! On Kontrol49 I assigned dedicated channel for keyboard/pitch and all other controls on another midi channel. Used appropriate MIDI ins on Live tracks, and it worked.

Starting to get a better handle on MIDI assignments.

This may be dumb question, but I'm a newbie...how are midi channels assigned on Live? Does midi channel # = midi track #? e.g. if I have live track 3 used for MIDI drums, and live track 4 used ...

Are there MIDI CC# assignments for sample on/off on Impulse? I would like to trigger drum samples on Impulse from the pads on my Kontrol 49 keyboard.

It appears MIDI map mode does not work on the samples?
