8.0.5 Performance Lag
I just installed the 8.0.5 update on my Mac running OS 10.5.8 and am now experiencing huge performance lags when I drag clips from the browser to an empty clip slot. Basically I will drag and drop a clip from another project into a new session, then I get the spinning color wheel for easily 15 ...

Re: mac os 10.5.8 released. reports here!
I'm on a Core 2 Duo Macbook (older black casing) and 10.5.8 fixed an issue I was having, although it is not documented in the release notes. Under 10.5.7 and earlier I was experiencing insane program hangs with iTunes particularly. Launching the app would bring up the pinwheel for at least 30 ...

Re: APC40 creating high pitched noise
So I just received a replacement for my first APC that was making the noise and the issue is not present in the new one. I was worried it was a design flaw.

A while back I spent many cold dark lonely red wine soaked (and the occasional whisky) nights working out how to do that very thing... 0db at 12 O'clock, -48db (or whatever) at 8 O'clock and +6dB at 5 O'clock..

DJ EQing
OK, I know this question has been asked before, but I've been checking the forums for days and have not found quite what I am looking for. Maybe it simply doesn't exist. Anyways, I recently purchased an APC 40 and am using it to DJ, though this same question could apply to other MIDI controllers as ...

Re: APC 40 FAQs, features and questions
I've started using the APC and it's all very interesting,
I just have to say/ask a few:
1)------------------------------
The MIDI data sent from the encoders is different and this creates some problems. The Cue Level Encoder sends smooth data with acceleration infos. The Track and Device Encoders ...

Re: APCtuts.com - APC40 tutorials, tips, tricks and more
Nice. Just got an APC myself and have had trouble finding good usage tips and suggestions. It'll be great to have a resource dedicated to the APC. One thing that could be cool would be a section dedicated to submitting alternate mappings people use in their workflows. I'd certainly contribute my own ...

Re: APC40 creating high pitched noise
Definitely the APC itself. The sounds seems to originate closer to the faders than anything else.Tone Deft wrote:defective. is it the power supply or the APC? not that it matters except maybe you can get a new power supply instead of a new APC.
sorry.

APC40 creating high pitched noise
Hello all,
I picked up an APC40 on day 1 and the device itself is making a high pitched noise. At first one might not notice it but if there is no audio playing you will definitely hear it, particularly if you lean in closer to the device. To be clear, I am talking about the APC40 itself making ...
