STRIP SILENCE
I'm sure anyone coming from literally any other DAW misses this feature, especially if you ever remix or collaborate using stems from another session. Please give us this basic short cut to save us from having to manually chop up and delete silence on every individual track manually when we import t...

Re: Vocal Comping improvements
Vocal comping improvements? How about vocal comping PERIOD. I still can't believe there's no way to effectively comp vocals in Ableton. I always have to use Logic which is a clunky work flow. This is the #1 most glaring omission in Ableton in my book.

Re: Selecting Multiple Clips in Arrange View
Wow, can't believe you still can't do such a basic feature. I can do this with files in my Mac OS Finder for crying out loud! +1

Edit Midi Envelopes while in multi edit mode
It's wonderful that we can finally edit multiple midi tracks at once. But if I'm editing a Midi track in multi mode, why is the envelope function removed? What if I want to edit pitch bends on one track, while still viewing the midi notes from another track? I don't understand why they'd removed the...

Faster Save Times
I regularly use Ableton and Logic Pro, and for whatever reason, Logic Pro's save times are a fraction of Ableton's. I like to "Save As" multiple times during a session in case I want to roll back some changes, but each time I do that with Ableton, it takes up to a minute if it's a heavy session. Wit...

Re: Create custom shortcuts in Live
YES I agree this is so important! Especially being able to re-map the disable key from "0" to something more common with other DAWs. It can be very frustrating switching between DAWs and being forced to use Ableton's fixed shortcuts.

Take Folders / Playlists, for the love of God!
This is one of the biggest reasons I have to continue to use Logic AS WELL AS Ableton instead of using Ableton 100% of the time. Simply put, Ableton sucks when it comes to recording audio. If I'm in a session with a great vocalist and we're writing a song, when it's time to record her vocals, I have...

Hot Key Replacements
As a Logic user, I'm used to muting regions by pressing "M". Of course, I can always edit every key command in Logic if I desire. This is not the case with Ableton, which has "0" hard coded for disabling regions. This is frustrating, because I'd like to have the ability to set the same hot keys for ...

Rating system in browser
I'm sure this has been brought up a bunch, but as a power user, I'd love to see a rating system that would let us more easily sort through our favorite presets, samples, etc., The browser is starting to feel dated at this point.

Browser "Back" Button
This is a pretty basic feature for most browsers in any program. If I am browsing a folder for samples and decide I need a filter, I'll search for filter and throw it on. Once I've done that, getting back to the folder I was browsing can be a bit of a task. It would be great to have a "Back" button ...

Re: FEATURE REQ: Back / Forward Buttons in Browser / State Saves
I Second this. I often find myself browsing and loading multiple sounds into a drum rack, only to realize midway through that i'd like to put an effect on the rack. But there's no quick way to search for a new effect and the go right back to where I left off browsing. A back and forward button would...

Re: Scroll Wheel Zoom - For the love of GOD! Please.............
I can't believe Ableton 9 failed to address this glaring issue. Like others have said, it's so basic it's almost spiteful for them to ignore it. Going back to Logic X for now. Too many senseless hoops to jump through in Ableton's work flow (no ability to edit multiple midi regions, no reasignable ho...
