I am new to Live 10 .

Installed it but can't find any example projects or song ( s ) to demonstrate how it works " live " .

Please excuse my dumb question however certainly would appreciate help and guidance to get me going by installing and playing a demo song or project .

Don't bother with the manual, it's more of a reference, I think. Go with the lessons.

Now that's the kind of help they should provide with the download.

It's too bad that in the download they don't include a few sample "projects" that could be opened/loaded so that the try before you buy user could just hit play a watch/enjoy what is going on.

So far I am not too impressed.

I've spent time/money printing out the pdf, spent about 2 hours ...

I download the Live 6 Lite as per email offer from Ableton.

I am giving this programme another try/chance.

I've installed it watching a plethera of files being installed into my documentation folder ( I hope that's were it's supposed to go ). Then it was "unlocked" thru cyberspace.

In the Audio MIDI Setup Audio Devices my setup is as follows:

The default audio in/out set to the audiophile

The System output set to Built in Audio

Properties for the Audiophile

I recently purchased M-Audio Audiophile USB.

With the said USB device there was a "free" Live version 4: OS X and OS 9.

I am working in OS X ( PANTHER ) and do not have OS 9 installed on this Mac.

The User Manual English.pdf wants to open the "classic" pdf application.

In order for me to run ...

wooa, something has changed at ableton's beta

because yesterday i had to make another download

because my computer crashed and i had to re-install Panther

so this download had all the codes and i just had to authenticate it back to the ableton's web site

way to go ableton

This is not the only midi/audio programme I have or beta tested.

My point in posting was that this programme is only a beta programme that will expire on a given day. So I can't use it forever.

Why even bother with a code/serial number ?

Somewhat silly just to beta test a ...
