Just thought I would confirm a few things about Launchpad.

1. The unit is available from November 2nd, not November 1st. Novation have updated this on the website so that you can see it for yourself.

2. You can chain 6 Launchpads together, though a powered USB may be needed for that many to work ...

well, i didn't.. tbh, i'm only really interested in operator (and perhaps max for live in the future) and 200 bucks more than the regular update price wasn't really ...

I, for one, am not too happy! I have used Live since v1.5 and upgraded to Live 8 just 5 days ago. I feel pretty sore that people who bought Live 8 in the last 7 to 14 days don't get included either! Wish I'd waited, but wanted version 8 to go with my APC40. :(
